In 2002, ADV has successfully obtained this contract from SIEMENS for the provision of DDS to KCRC Light Rail Division. Our scope of supply included design, supply, documentation, installation, testing & commissioning and maintenance of the DDS and we worked closely with KCRC and SIEMENS representatives from Germany and Hong Kong. Our display solution substantially fulfilled all requirements and constrains in this project and was up to KCRC & SIEMENS’s satisfaction.

KCRC West Rail - Passenger Information System (Contract DB-1500)

Supply over 140 sets of LED display in station entrance, concourse, platform area and training center of KCRC West Rail

In 2001, we were awarded the contract from SIEMENS for the provision of passenger information display units to all stations of KCRC West Rail. We supplied all computer-based LED display board units to 9 WR stations and 2 depots and a total of 143 units were delivered.

In this project, we custom-made our display board units to KCRC and SIEMENS to cope with their needs. It included display board acoustic outlook, maintenance perspective, display performance, product reliability and availability, EMI hazard analysis and human safety factors.

All high quality equipments were delivered to SIEMENS for installation in the 1st quarter of 2003 and KCRC West Rail is expected to launch service in the 4th quarter of 2003.
